What the Bible Tells Us About Christian Joy

William Barclay
Old price:  £5.99 £4.99
ISBN: 9780715208861

Description

“Christians are men and women of joy. A Gloomy Christian is a contradiction in terms.”
from the Foreword by Ron Ferguson

Joy is a feeling of keen happiness, exuberance and delight – even saying the word turns the corners of our mouths upwards. But, it is said, you cannot know joy without experiencing sorrow: Christian joy is about the good times and the bad times. These insights reveal what the Bible tells us about this wonderful emotion, its meaning and causes.

Cutting through all the commercialism and superficiality that are increasingly typical of the great Christian events and themes, the Insights series brings the Bible vividly to life.
