Poems of Celtic Christianity

Kenneth Steven
Extent 40 minutes

Description

‘My poems are defined by Celtic Christianity and the western edge of the world – Iona and the west of Ireland. In the days of the Celts, there was much less distinction between the natural world and faith. They were bound up together. We’ve split them off from each other today. In my poetry, I’m trying to key into the simpler way of life of the Celts’. Kenneth Steven

With music and mood sounds of sea and land, Kenneth Steven reads evocatively from his deeply spiritual, original and simple poetry. Read with a quiet, gentle spirituality, these poems will take you on a spiritual journey that you will want to repeat many times.

Contains poems from a selection of Kenneth Steven's most loved works: Iona, Wild Horses, Splinters, Columba and Salt & Light
